The firm that would eventually become About Brooks, LeBoeuf, Bennett, Foster & Gwartney, P.A. was first formed by Attorneys Ronald W. Brooks and Dean R. LeBoeuf in early 1987. Eight years later, Attorney Rhonda Bennett joined the firm as a partner after working exclusively at the firm since her graduation from law school in 1990.
In late 1997, Matthew K. Foster joined as a partner after he, too, had worked for the firm since earning his Juris Doctor. Attorney Scott Gwartney joined the firm in 2002 and became a partner just one year later. Attorney Carolyn LeBoeuf has maintained a valuable of-counsel relationship with the firm and worked alongside our team for several years. In total, our firm consists of attorneys who are licensed to practice in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and Texas.
Our attorneys have well over 100 years of combined legal experience and this firm has been serving the citizens of this community for over 33 years. Most of our lawyers grew up in this community or they have been here so long that they call this home and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Put simply, we are your neighbors and friends. We believe in what we do and we genuinely care about our clients and their pursuit of justice.
To provide our clients with the best possible legal services, we work in teams. Our civil team handles cases involving almost all types of serious personal injury and wrongful death matters including motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, nursing home resident claims, negligent security claims and defective product injuries.
Our criminal defense team represents individuals charged with a wide variety of crimes in Leon, Wakulla, Gadsden, Franklin, and Jefferson counties. We also assist our clients with estate planning issues including will and trusts.
